Cat Tien National Park is the best place to reserve a tour if you're interested in learning about minority ethnic customs, animal viewing, hiking, biking, or boat excursions.
It takes a couple hours to drive northeast of Ho Chi Minh City to reach Cat Tien National Park. UNESCO designated the park as the 411th biosphere reserve in 2001, making it one of Vietnam's second biosphere reserves. Because it is spread over a total of 70,548 hectares spanning the provinces of Dong Nai, Lam Dong, and Binh Phuoc.
Large grasslands, streams, and uncommon animals and plants make up the natural ecosystem of Cat Tien National Park, which is also home to a diverse range of fauna and vegetation. Day 1 :
SAIGON – CAT TIEN NATIONAL PARK – NIGHT SAFARI. (Lunch, Dinner)
Morning: At 7:30 AM, we'll come get you from your hotel.
Along the trip, there are plenty of big, green cashew trees and rubber plantations beside the highways.
The Dong Nai river structure and a few Ma people floating homes are visible to us.
Afternoon: Check into your accommodations and eat lunch.
In a few hours, you will hike trails to see ancient, massive trees including the about 300-year-old Tung tree, the 700-year-old Uncle Dong's oak tree in Cat Tien National Park, and the Bang Lang tree, which has six divided trunks.
Riding a bike allows you to see the Ta Lai Long House, Ta Lai Ethnic Village, and participate in some traditional activities within the park.
Evening: Take a night safari to learn about nocturnal animals.
Enjoy a meal at your homestay and spend the night there, listening to the sounds of the jungle as nature's soundtrack.
Day 2:
CAT TIEN TREKKING – WILDLIFE RESCUE CENTER AND CROCODILE LAKE (BAU SAU) – HO CHI MINH CITY (Breakfast, Lunch)
Start the day with breakfast.
At 7:00 AM, we will pick you up at the forest's edge.
About 16 kilometers into the forest is the crocodile lake, and getting there requires walking 5 kilometers toward Bau Sau, the lake's location. The second Ramsar site in Vietnam is Bau Sau (Crocodile Lake), which is located in Cat Tien National Park. From there, to take in the picturesque surroundings or spot crocodiles in the lagoon. The 13.759ha wetland habitat is made up of 5,360ha that floods seasonally and 151ha that floods frequently. The Siamese crocodile, a species of freshwater crocodile that was formerly thought to be extinct, is found in Bau Sau. Have lunch.
Back to Ho Chi Minh City and drop off at your hotel around 6 PM.
